I am a crazy country girl, but not the farming type, the 'cheeky dirty barefoot mining-town kid' type!! I grew up on an island in the Kimberley's, Western Australia, an unbelievably special childhood. Surrounded by all that beauty encouraged a love to create. I have a passion for life and the natural world. I love the peace and beauty but also the violence and chaos of the earth. This shows in my work where there is often a clash of soft beauty with a harsh edge. I love drawing with pen on paper, and I love colouring in! I also adore repetitive abstract patterns that draw your eye in. I can get lost in the circles and swirls for hours :)
